MUSIC EDUCATION

Music Teachers

Teach practical contemporary music and help students build technique, musicianship and the confidence to progress.

  • Teach trial and regular lessons
  • Maintain lesson notes and student updates
  • Assess students when they complete a grade
  • Support suitable performances
  • Communicate clearly with parents
  • Complete basic teaching administration

Qualifications are not mandatory. AOR provides training and may prepare suitable teachers for Grade 8 examinations. Interviews may include an instrument demonstration.

FRONT DESK · OPERATIONS

Music School Front Desk & Operations Coordinator

Be the first point of contact for students and families while helping the school, lessons and teachers run smoothly.

FULL-TIME OR PART-TIMETRAINING PROVIDEDNO MUSIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  • Handle enquiries, WhatsApp and trial bookings
  • Support scheduling, payments and student records
  • Assist with shop sales and daily opening or closing
  • Maintain the school environment
  • Help teachers with administration
  • Use basic data-entry tools confidently

What matters: customer service, clear communication, reliability and careful administration.

WORKING AVAILABILITY

Built around active lesson hours

Both roles need evening and weekend availability. Exact schedules may vary with school needs.

Typical hoursApproximately 12pm–9pm, subject to the assigned schedule.
Full-timeFive days each week, including at least one weekend day.
Part-timeUp to three days each week, including at least one weekend day. Additional days may be arranged by mutual agreement.
